Candy is dandy, but wine is divine…
If you know me, there’s nothing I love more than a good glass of wine. (Well, maybe a mojito but wine is so much easier and convenient!) Recently, a girlfriend and I got together for a girls’ night in and we tried Caposaldo wine for the first time.
“Caposaldo Wines blends a handcrafted, artisanal approach to winemaking with cutting-edge quality standards and techniques, so that it stands as a benchmark of iconic Italian wines, which translates to food-friendly and appealing flavors.”
I enjoyed the Caposaldo Sweet Moscato. It had delightful pear, peach and spice aromas and flavors, and fresh, vivacious bubbles that perked me up after a long day of work. It brought out the sweetness of the cupcakes and the balsamic glaze of my tomato + mozzarella skewers.
While I prefer sweet white wines, my friend Danielle’s wine of choice is Pinot Grigio. Caposaldo’s Pinot Grigio Veneto has a dry, crisp, vibrant texture and delicate aromas of white fruit, flowers and almonds. I definitely liked it more than most Pinot Grigios I’ve had. It paired perfectly with our deviled eggs and dinner.
Caposaldo is available nationwide in a variety of still and sparkling wines. Are you ready to enjoy the last few days of summer with a glass of vino in hand? Visit Caposaldo on Facebook.
