It’s been a long time since I published a post like this, so I thought it would be fun to do one now.
My husband calls me “the researcher” for good reason. I am CONSTANTLY looking thing up on Google. My curious mind is so happy Google exists, otherwise I’d find myself at the library more often. (The good ol’ days). Whenever I tell him about something new I’ve researched (i.e. hours of reading) he just smiles and rolls his eyes. Ahem,
do you not know you have a genius by your side? Lol.
Lately I’ve done a LOT of research on skin care (more to come on that). However, from time to time I find myself searching for hilarious things, for no reason at all. It was hard remembering what I’ve searched for, but here are a few things. If you guys like this post, I’ll make another one in a few weeks. Here goes!
What sounds do goats make?
In case you were also curious, the answer is ‘bleat.’
What is “on fleek?”
Let’s just say I also Googled how to use it in a sentence. These were dark times.
What is a garden tub?
After explaining to my neighbor my plans for our garden tub, the look he gave me made me wonder if I was actually calling it by the right name. I was.
Did I break my shin bone?
The other night I got cocky with my workout and decided to half-ass a bench jump. Needless to say, my worst fear came true: I missed the bench and scraped my shin in the process. I wailed like a banshee for a few minutes, as the pain only seemed to get worse with time. I iced my shin and popped a few Advils and I’m fine now. But, man, I really thought I had broken something. #WorkoutSoHard
Do I have a broken toe? / Am I pigeon-toed?
Let’s just say I have a little irregularity with my feet. And I still don’t know if I have a broken toe (or two) in my left foot.
As if the living and breathing Prince Eric from Disney’s The Little Mermaid wasn’t gorgeous enough, he has Princess Kate and other women around the world swooning for another reason.
If you don’t know what this beautiful piece of work looks like from behind, go search now. I’ll wait. You will NOT be disappointed.
Justin, I’ll walk behind you ANY day ;)
How to Snapchat
Yeah, let’s just say I’m starting to show my age. Cough, cough.
Donald Trump hair piece
Notice how that wasn’t even a question. I just ASSUMED it was a hair piece hahahahah. (And, no, it’s not a hair piece. EW.)
What is covfefe
Café con fefe? Seriously? WTF is covfefe? Does anyone know?
Also, I’m just going to leave this spectacular burn right here.
Does chocolate cause acne?
It may be one of those old wives’ tales, but there might be some merit to this claim. I’ve noticed that when milk was a regular staple in my diet, I tended to break out more. I’ve switched to almond milk (and the occasional cheese pizza) and it has helped my acne. (However, I feel it has more to do with my skincare regimen–more on that soon–than anything else.)
How do you spell ______
- embarrassed (yep, almost published this post with a typo in the title)
- insert several more words I can’t retrieve at the moment because I’m constantly clearing my cache for web design
Does protein give you gas?
Ahem. Let’s file this under #WorkoutSoHard
How many Star Wars movies are there?
Ok, I’m not really embarrassed about this one. I’ve never watched Star Wars, but since I ran in the Star Wars 5k at Disney last month, it piqued my curiosity.
P.S. The Force Awakens was a great movie!
Is it ever going to rain?
As if Google knows everything. Desperate times.
How to lose belly fat
SERIOUSLY THOUGH! I’ve been eating better and working out 5-6 days a week since September (almost 10 months now!) and I am just NOW starting to lose some of the most stubborn fat. Why is this always such a problem for us ladies?!
On a serious note, please do not e-mail me about teas, supplements, wraps, or whatever the latest snake oil out there is at the moment. None of that shit works. A healthy diet + consistent exercise, and that alone, is what works.
Can I grow my boobs
If you can grow a 🍑 why not a set of girls? Rhetorical questions aside, Abby Pollock has a video on how to grow your boobs (the lower pectorals).
My dog won’t stop licking
Any dog owners out there with this problem? Daisy won’t stop licking her chest. The vet even prescribed allergy meds, expensive ones at that, and nothing. I’ve changed her food and treats from chicken to red meat. Nothing. Flea meds, nothing. Allergy-relief shampoos and conditioners, nothing. I’m at my wit’s end.
Do dogs have dreams?
Ever see a dog’s tail wag in their sleep, or hear a dog growl in their sleep? Both Chip and Daisy have vivid dreams and I’ve always wondered what they dream about. Treats? Toys? Research says they actually dream about their owners. Awwww!
